The Pantry Connection

The Pantry Connection

Urban Community Connections has been fighting the battle against Food Insecurity within the community one household at a time since 2013. The UCC Pantry Program directly serves residence of Kansas City, MO, Kansas City, KS and surrounding cities; by delivering non-perishable and shelf stable food directly to community endeavors for distribution to individuals in need of assistance. UC² we believe in Exponential Results Through Exceptional Connections, we strive to foster relationships with local grocery stores, retailers, and growers to rescue food, which is collecting edible food that would otherwise go to waste from places such as restaurants, grocery stores, produce markets, or dining facilities to be distributed through our pantry programs.

Christmas In July

The Pantry Connection

The Hygiene Connection

It's a day of Christmas themed fun! Families are encouraged to connect with UCC's "AT NO COST" Christmas in July program, which offers something for everyone! While raising awareness for the valuable resources offered by Urban Community Connections and its Community partners, families are provided with needed resources. Urban Community Connections will be providing new toys and gifts for children and adolescents up to 17 years of age through the UCC Christmas in July Program. Child clients in need, and their siblings, receive donated gifts from Urban Community Connections and community sponsors. Because many of the children have limited resources, Urban Community Connections will also provide basic care items such as undergarments and diapers, oral care kits, learning and activity kits, along with their new age-appropriate toys.
